PURPOSE:To improve considerably durability and eliminate wrapping of copying paper, etc. by forming a coating layer which is formed by crosslinking rubber compd. consisting essentially of raw methyl vinyl silicone rubber and filler to specific crosslinking density or above on a heat-conductive elastic material layer fixed to a mandrel. CONSTITUTION:The coating layer 8 is formed via the heat-conductive elastic material layer 7 on the mandrel 6 of a fixed roll 3 to be used for an electrostatic photographic process by using the rubber compd. consisting essentially of the raw methyl vinyl silicone rubber and fillers such as wet silica, SiO2 and carbon black. The layer 8 is formed as the coating layer having >=6X10<4>mol/ cm<3> total crosslinking density including the polymer crosslinking by a vinyl group and the crosslinking between the silica and polymer. The layer 7 is formed by dispersing the powder of a heat conductivity imparting agent such as graphite or metal to thermosetting or cold setting silicone rubber. The swelling of the layer 8 to be used with the polysiloxane oil supplied as a release agent from a tank 9 is thus suppressed and the injury, etc. by a separating pawl 12, etc. are prevented, by which durability is improved. |
