Device for marking places in a given space consisting of: a. a series of panels arranged on the perimeter of the area in question and bearing two elements whose areas vary inversely as a function of the distance to the centre C of the device. One of these surfaces is black, the other is in one of six colours: yellow, orange, red, violet, blue, green. The panels being arranged in this order following the clockwise direction. Panels of the same type are arranged at various points of the device, the variations in their coloured areas physically representing the distances to the centres and to the axes of the device. b. A series of panels or of graphs applied on to the foregoing panels giving, at each point marked, the orientation with respect to the whole. <IMAGE>
