PURPOSE:To develop a slide contact material high in a softening temp. and excellent in welding resistance, by adding at least one of Al, Ga, Mn and Ni to a Au-Ag-Cu type slide contact material grade alloy with a specific composition. CONSTITUTION:As a slide contact material, especially, a brush contact material, an alloy prepared by adding 0.5-15wt% of at least one of Al, Ga, Mn and Ni to an alloy having a composition consisting of 61.5-63.5wt% Au, 28-30wt% Ag and 7.5-9.5wt% Cu without changing the compositional ratio thereof is used. By this method, the brush contact material high in a softening temp. and welding resistance is obtained. |
