PURPOSE:To manufacture a casting mold which does not leave the residue of dissolution on the inside surface of the mold cavity by manufacturing a pattern of a soluble org. material and forming a coating film on the surface of the pattern by using a material insoluble in a solvent thereby manufacturing the casting mold pattern. CONSTITUTION:The pattern 1 is made of the org. material soluble in a solvent, for example, foamed polystyrene, etc. The coating film 2 is formed on the surface of the pattern 1 by using the material having flexibility and soluble in a solvent, for example, silicone rubber, etc. to manufacture the casting mold pattern. The molding material is then packed around the pattern 1 and is cured; thereafter the pattern 1 is dissolved by the solvent and the residue of the dissolution and the film 2 are removed to the outside of the mold. The solvent is not absorbed to the wall of the casting mold and therefore the molding having high quality is obtd. and the stage thereof is simple. |
