PURPOSE:To accomplish perfect combustion of gas, pressure decrease in a combustion chamber and high temp. heating of a soldering iron by bringing the combustion gas into contact with a combustion catalyst through a combustion gas passage which is continuous from the root end in the combustion chamber having a closed top end toward the discharge port at the top end. CONSTITUTION:External air is sucked through an air port 10 and an air introducing port 15 into a gaseous mixture introducing pipe 11 by the ejector effect of the evaporating gas passing a nozzle cap 13, whereby a gaseous mixture is formed. The gaseous mixture is supplied into a combustion chamber 2 and is discharged through a gaseous mixture flow passage 8 from a combustion gas discharge port 7. When electricity is conducted in this state to an electric heater 9 for ignition, the gaseous mixture near the port 7 is ignited and combustion catalyst 6 starts oxidation reaction in a several seconds. The reaction region spreads over the entire surface of the catalyst 6 and the flameless perfect combustion of the gaseous mixture is executed in the chamber 2, whereby an iron tip 1 is heated quickly to a required high temp. |
