PURPOSE:To contrive the miniaturization by forming a lens and a photo diode in an integral body. CONSTITUTION:A flat form lens body 5 wherein the semi-spherical distribution 6 of refractive index is formed by utilizing the ion exchange of Tl<+>Na<+> and K<+> is used for a BK-7 glass, and the photo diode composed of a clear electrode 7, an N type alpha-Si layer 8, a non-doped alpha-Si layer 9, a P type alpha-Si layer 10, and an Al electrode 11 is formed thereon. When this photo detector is used for a receiving system from a fiber, the light from the optical fiber is stopped down at the lens part, and the photo diode is irradiated with the light, which is therefore guided to the photo diode even when the fiber is out of the position more or less. |
