PURPOSE:To eliminate oil stirring so as to reduce driving loss, and improve lubrication performance, by setting a sheet width of a mirror plate sealing a suction chamber, which is defined by a rotary scroll and a fixed scroll, and a back pressure chamber to a value less than a rotary radius. CONSTITUTION:A closed space 9 between a fixed scroll 29 and a rotary scroll 30 is sequentially moved to be compressed in the central direction by precession of the rotary scroll 30, thereby discharging fluid such as refrigerant gas from a discharge port 10. The fixed scroll 29 and the rotary scroll 30 are in tight contact with each other on a sheet surface 31, and a groove 33 is provided outside of the sheet surface 31. The width of the sheet surface 31 is set to a value less than a rotary radius. A mirror plate 35 of the rotary scroll 30 has a size such that the mirror plate may not protrude from the sheet surface 31 of the fixed scroll 29 during precession of the rotary scroll. Any parts of an upper surface of the mirror plate 35 other than the sheet surface 31 are immersed in oil filled in a back pressure chamber 16. |
