PURPOSE:To enable profile machining to be easily performed by rotary driving force of the main spindle of a boring machine, by mounting a rotary arm mechanism with a rotary arm, tool mounting part, cutting feed mechanism and copying mechanism, to a rotary adaptor. CONSTITUTION:A device main unit A is mounted to a boring head 1, and a spindle rotating joint 3, for transmitting driving power to this device connected to the main spindle of a horizontal boring machine, is arranged in the center part of a mounting casing 2 of this head 1. Rotary driving power is transmitted to the main unit A, while the end face of a rotary adaptor 27 can be placed in an optional position and angle by an intermediate casing 4 and an end casing 10. Rotation of the spindle of the horizontal boring machine is transmitted to the rotating joint 3, turning a rotary flange 20. The adaptor 27, integrally formed with the flange 20, and a rotary arm 30 are also driven, turning a tool mounting part C, cutting feed mechanism D and a copying mechanism, thus cutting work is performed by a cutting tool 55. |
