PURPOSE:To prepare the titled health tea agreeable to take, by mixing finely cut and shade-dried leaves of EZOUKOGI (Acanthopanax senticosus), chopped and shade-dried shoot of KUMAZASA (Sasa albo-marginata), dried peppermint leaves, and finely ground corn at proper ratios. CONSTITUTION:The leaves of EZOUKOGI collected in the latter part of May- the latter part of June, are washed with water, cut into small pieces, and dried in the shade. The round sprout of KUMAZASA is pulled out from the shoot in the middle of June-July, washed with water, cut to 2-3mm. long, and dried in the shade. Leaves of peppermint are collected in July-August, washed with water, cut to 2-3mm., and dried in the shade. Corn is harvested in the middle of September-at the beginning of October, dried completely and finely ground. The ground corn is parched over a strong fire, and the other components are mixed together and parched over a slow fire preventing the scorch. The four kinds of the components are mixed together to obtain the objective EZOUKOGI tea. EFFECT:The active component of EZOUKOGI can be extracted together with other ingredients in a short time. |
