PURPOSE:To keep the surface of a rearview mirror always into clean state by removing the rain droplets adhering onto the surface of the rearview mirror by revolving or vibrating the rearview mirror through a prescribed driving mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A motor 13 is fixed inside the body 1 by a support 14, and a crank 19 is fixed onto a motor shaft 17 by a coupling 18. Said crank 19 is fixed onto a fixed plate 25, which is fixed onto a rearview mirror 27 through a back plate 26. The rain droplets adhering onto the surface are scattered and removed by a centrifugal force by revolving the rearview mirror 27 by the motor 13. While, a core rod 5 is allowed to penetrate through a hole 21 formed at the rear part of the body 1 and fixed by a stop plate 6, and the case 3 for a spring 7 for supporting the core rod 5 is fixed onto an installation rod 9. Therefore, the body 1 and the rearview mirror 26 can be turned by a certain angle in the free directions. |
