PURPOSE:To shorten a dissolving time by preventing the generation of insoluble matter by the formation of a lump and promoting the diffusion between a high- molecular compound and a solvent, by adding the high-molecular compound in the solvent and irradiating the resulting mixture with ultrasonic waves. CONSTITUTION:A dissolving tank 1 is constituted of a heat insulating jacket 2, ultrasonic oscillators 3, the motor head 4 of stirrers 5 for stirring the content in the dissolving tank, the stirrers 5 and the valve 6 for discharging the solution prepared in the dissolving tank. The ultrasonic oscillators 3 are arranged in a mixture to be dissolved so as to mutually oppose the oscillation surfaces 7 thereof. Distilled water and photographic grade powdery gelatin are put in the dissolving tank 1 and allowed to stand at 25 deg.C for 30min and, thereafter, the ultrasonic oscillators 3 and the stirrers 5 are operated while the temp. of the aforementioned mixture is raised to 60 deg.C after 40min and this temp. is held to dissolved said gelatin. |
