PURPOSE:To enable the connection of polyethylane pipes, by a method wherein the space is provided between the end surface of polyethylane pipes at the condition a stainless pipe is inserted in the inner surface, and the exposed part of the stainless pipe is heated, and confronting end surfaces of polyethylane pipes are contact bonded. CONSTITUTION:The stainless pipe 2 having nearly the same outer diameter with the inner diameter of polyethylane pipes 1, 1' is inserted to the polyethylane pipes 1, 1', and the prescribed space is provided between the end surfaces of the polyethylane pipes 1, 1'. Next, after the exposed part of the stainless pipe 2 is heated to the prescribed temperature, the confronting end surfaces of the polyethylane pipes 1, 1' are contact bonded mutually at once. Hereby, it becomes possible to surly connect the polyethylane pipes without the center discrepancy, and abnormal protruding due to the contact bonding will not generate in the inside surface of pipes. |
