PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain an emitted ink receiving apparatus of which the life is markedly prolonged, by making it possible to appropriately alter an emitted ink receiving part for receiving ink emitted from a head. CONSTITUTION:An emitted ink receiving and storing part 15 is formed into a circular form opened toward the side of a head 1 and a shaft 10 is provided to a main body 12 in a freely revolvable menner at the central part of said storing part 15. An emitted ink receiving member 9 consisting of the inner cylinder 8 inlaid with the shaft 10 and an outer cylinder 7 comprising a sponge member is provided to said shaft 10 and held to the main body 12 in a freely detachable and revolvable manner. A ratchet wheel 21 is inlaid with the extending part 10' of the shaft 10 and the feed pewl 22 engaged with said ratchet wheel 21 is reciprocally moved in an H-direction to perform the minute rotation of the emitted ink receiving member 9 through the ratchet wheel 21 and the shaft 10. By this mechanism, the emitted ink receiving part for receiving the ink emitted from the head can be altered appropriately and the service life thereof can be prolonged. |
