PURPOSE:To enhance printing quality without increasing cost, by using a detection part capable of detecting both of the thickness of printing paper and the variation in the voltage of a driver circuit and processing the detection signal from said detection part by one control system to alter a printing condition. CONSTITUTION:A detection part 1 capable of detecting both of the thickness of printing paper and the variation in the voltage of a driver circuit is used and a printing condition can be controlled by processing the data of said detection part 1 by one system consisting of an A/D converter 2 and a processor 3 and, therefore, the number of parts of a control circuit can be reduced. Further, in order to enhance printing accuracy by making the control of the printing condition fine, the number of output bits of the A/D converter 2 may be increased and the number of processing bits of the processor 3 corresponding thereto may be increased. As a result, printing quality can be enhanced without increasing the cost of the apparatus. |
