A liquid cleaning system for plate-shaped components 37, having a box-shaped housing 11, having a carrier 29 which can be inserted into the housing and on which the plate-shaped components 37 can be held with mutual spacing, and having spray nozzles 146 arranged in the housing, is designed, in order to achieve a better cleaning effect with reduced need for liquid, in such a way that the carrier 29 can rotate in the housing 11. The rotation is brought about by means of a rotary drive 24, 26, the speed of rotation being matched to the control of the spray nozzles. The spray nozzles 146 are attached radially inwards from the components 37 in such a way that they rotate with them. To be used to clean, in particular, printed circuitboards in industrial mass production. <IMAGE>
