PURPOSE:To eliminate the generation of a ghost by rotating a sleeve in the opposite direction where it faces a photosensitive drum, and setting the abutting part between the sleeve and a blade downwardly at <60 deg. from a horizontal line which passes the center line of the sleeve. CONSTITUTION:The sleeve 3 as a toner supply member is rotated in the opposite direction where it faces the photosensitive drum 1 as an image carrier. Then, the adutting part between the sleeve 3 and a control roller 10 for the coating amount of toner is set at <60 deg. from the horizontal line which passes the center line of the sleeve 3, and a toner flowout preventing member 9 is provided at the edge part of the opening 4 of a storage container which is provided over the sleeve 3 and where the sleeve 3 enters. |
