PURPOSE:To attain synchronizing operation of active/spare system and operation of separation and independence by selecting a signal of the own system and other system as a synchronizing signal to a line through the command of a control circuit in a duplicated data transmission line. CONSTITUTION:When a separation operation command signal 106 represents non-separating operation, the operation is decided by active/spare command signals 105, 107 applied respectively to control circuits 8, 12 of data transfer devices 1, 2. When the signals 105, 107 are active commands, a synchronizing signal is transmitted to the control circuits 12, 8 of the opposite device. In case of spare command, the synchronizing signals 108, 109 from the opposite device are received and a synchronizing pattern data is outputted by controlling synchronizing pattern generating circuits 7, 13 and data memories 6, 14. When the signal 106 commands separating operation, the control circuits 8, 12 control independently the synchronizing pattern generating circuits 7, 13 and the data memories 6, 14 to attain independent and separating operation. |
