摘要 The process provides for the use of organic agents having a proportion of phosphoric acid, by treating the workpiece at room temperature. The purpose of the invention is to achieve a complex process for the surface treatment at room temperature which makes it possible to remove fatty substances, other contaminations and oxide and scale deposits in a mutually matched system of metal surfaces. If required, said surfaces are to be preserved, phosphate layers are to be formed which are likewise to be preserved or to be sealed with a film-forming resin. The object of the invention is to design various process steps in such a way that they can be applied directly or indirectly in succession. The object of the invention is achieved by metal surfaces being freed of oxide and scale layers, using organic agents with a proportion of phosphoric acid, by the workpiece being dipped into a solution of - from 57 to 75% by weight of water, - from 12 to 20% by weight of an alcohol, glycol or glycol ether miscible with water and methylated benzenes and - from 13 to 23% by weight of phosphoric acid (calculated as 100%) and is then passed through liquid paraffin hydrocarbon in the bath without coming into contact with air.
