The safety grip serves to prevent criminal acts such as, for example, attack, robbery and theft in the case of messengers carrying money and security personnel accompanying shipments of money and valuables. Cartridges containing smoke and irritant gas, integrated in the safety grip, can be ignited via different, customer-specific radio systems. Persons situated in the vicinity immediately become incapable of action; the consequences are vomiting and severe irritation of the eyes and respiratory organs which persist for up to half an hour and thus cripple attackers. The additional red smoke serves as a visual alarm and hence acts as an immediate signal of something unforeseen.
