A measuring chamber for measuring and observing particles is described which comprises two compartments (6, 7) connected via an orifice (5), a small particle-feed tube (9) projecting into the compartment (6) situated upstream of the orifice (5) in terms of the flow direction of a carrier medium. The measuring chamber is constructed integrally as a slightly bent small tube (1) which, at the bending point (30), on the inside has a constriction (4) forming said orifice (5) and on the outside, in the region of the bend, has observation faces (18, 19, 25, 26). <IMAGE>
