The scaffolding for repair work makes it possible to erect and convert a horizontally extended working area on a building façade, even on one provided with projections, with a small outlay in time and money. A scaffolding catwalk is accommodated between two known movable lifting frames and can be displaced at working level towards the façade on running rails or cross-beams mounted there. In one embodiment, the lifting frame can be used for other purposes until the scaffolding is removed or converted. <IMAGE>
