PURPOSE:To ensure a prescribed order setting job without giving any operation to the original table of a memory by using a comparator which reads orderly the character information out of the memory and delivers these information after comparing to rearrange them in a prescribed order together. CONSTITUTION:The character information supplied from an input device 1 is stored to a memory circuit 4 and also displayed to a display device 6. An instruction is delivered from the device 1 so as to rearrange a table containing data stored orderly in the descending order in terms of the total columns. The arranging conditions are held by the circuit 4. A control circuit 2 reads the individual data to a comparator 3 out of the circuit 4 according to said rearranging conditions. The comparator 3 compares these data and obtains the maximum value of data. Then a row including said maximum value is delivered to a printer 5 from the circuit 4. The same processing is repeated until all descending orders are decided and delivered. |
