<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a circuit from malfunctioning by detecting variation of a source voltage before the source voltage varies until the circuit malfunctions, and outputting a reset signal for initializing the circuit when the voltage recovers to a normal voltage. CONSTITUTION:A source voltage detecting circuit 12 consists of an inverter 8 which is connected to a node N1 at its input terminal and to a node N2 at its output terminal respectively, an inverter 9 which is connected to the node at its input terminal and to the node N1 at its output terminal respectively, an inverter 10 whose input terminal is connected to the node N2, and a D type flip-flop 11 which receives the output of the inverter 10 and supplies the output to a reset signal generating circuit 13 through a node N3 with a clock signal phi0. Consequently, variation of the source voltage is detected and the circuit is reset with the reset signal before malfunctioning, initializing the circuit.</p> |
