PURPOSE:To readily detect an interlayer shortcircuit and the presence or absence of the slack of a winding by detecting the number of vibration from the output of a vibration detector mounted in a rotating motor, and analyzing the power source frequency and the spectrum near the integer number. CONSTITUTION:An acceleration sensor 3 is mounted, in place, in a motor 1 driven by a 3-phase AC power source 2. The output of the sensor 3 is amplified by an amplifier 4, a high frequency noise is removed by an LPF 5, and A/D converter by an A/D converter 6. The converted output is converted by a high speed Fourier converter 7 to obtain the power spectrum, printed out by a printer 8, and displayed on a CRT 9. The obtained pulse spectrum has peaks near the power source frequency and the vicinity of its integer number. The amplitude and the frequency of the spectrum are analyzed to judge the interlayer shortcircuit of the winding and the presence or absence of the slack of the winding. Thus, the malfunction of the winding can be readily detected without analyzing. |
