PURPOSE:To ensure that the surface of a screen has a high frictional force against a stencil and favorable durability can be obtained, by constituting the screen of a fabric woven from raised yarn blanks spun from chemical fibers subjected to short fiber processing. CONSTITUTION:The woven fabric 1 constituting the screen is consists of yarn blanks 2 spun from chemical fibers 2... such as polyester fibers subjected to short fiber processing, and the yarn blanks 2... are provided with a large number of fluffs 3... on the entire surfaces thereof. Therefore, the screen constituted of the woven fabric 1 has a high frictional force against the stencil in all directions, thereby producing a large force for holding the stencil paper onto the surface of a drum, namely, onto the surface of the screen fitted over the drum. Accordingly, a highly durable screen for a stencil duplicator can be provided which prevents the stencil from being deformed or cut, even in printing on a large number of papers. |
