PURPOSE:To automate easily measurement by forming a coil in an L part of an LI type core which has formed a magnetic gap in a joint part of an L-shaped core and I-shaped core, and setting a gap length of this LI type core to a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:A titled magnetic head core is an LI type which has formed a magnetic gap 7 in a joint part of an L-shaped core 5 and an I-shaped core 6, and a coil 10 is formed in its L part 5. Also, an I-shaped core 8 consisting of a high magnetic permeability material is pressure-welded to an opening part of this LI type core. An inductance LO of the coil 10 in this state, and an inductance LS of the coil 10 when it has been short-circuited magnetically by using a magnetic gap 7 short-circuiting core 9 of the LI type core further from said state are measured, and a value (g) obtained by an equation based on a magnetic permeability of a vacuum, a sectional area S of the magnetic gap 7, and the number of turns of the coil 10 is set as a gap length of the LI type core. |
