PURPOSE:To enable to manufacture a pump made of synthetic resin superior in corrosion resistance and wear resistance, by a method wherein a liner made of a corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant material is molded of the synthetic resin under a state wherein the liner is pressed by a component pressing the liner against a molding chamber and the pressing component is molded unitarily. CONSTITUTION:Liners 20, 22 made of a corrosion-resistant material such as stainless steel are molded of synthetic resin unitarily on liner surfaces 2A, 4A of a casing 2 and a casing cover 4 confronting with liners 24, 26 molded unitarily on the side of an impeller 8. To mold the casing cover 4 of the synthetic resin, the liner 22 is fitted to a movable mold, to begin with, and then a holding material 28 made of the synthetic resin is put into a thin hole 24A with pressure. Then after movable mold 24 has been fixed to a stationary mold 30, molten resin is pouered through a gate 32 with high pressure, the mold is broken after it has been kept colled for a while and the casing cover 4 is extruded by pressing the holding material 28 by an ejector pin 26. The casing 2 or impeller 8 is also moldable unitarily of synthetic resin with the liner by a similar method. |
