PURPOSE:To enable to obtain developed color images with clear color separation, by providing the first thermal color forming layer capable of forming a color at a high temperature and the second thermal color forming layer capable of forming a color at a low temperature and being decolored by a decoloring agent at a high temperature. CONSTITUTION:The first thermal coloring layer, a decoloring agent layer, the first intermediate layer, the second thermal coloring layer comprising a leuco dye and having the above-mentioned properties and a protective layer are laminated in this order on one side of a base, while a released paper is provided on the other side of the base through an adhesive layer. If required, the second intermediate layer is provided between the first color forming layer and the decoloring agent layer, whereby the effects of the decoloring agent on the first color forming layer during preservation or at the time of recording are eliminated. When the releasable paper for two-color thermal recording type label was subjected to printing by a thermal bar code forming machine under weak impressed energy, clear color development was achieved in the second thermal color forming layer, and when printing was conducted under strong impressed energy, clear color development was achieved in the first thermal color forming layer. In either case, the recorded images was stable for several months. |
