PURPOSE:To prevent easily the hunting phenomenon of a feeding motor by adding a gate circuit in a control circuit so that a signal converter is permitted to move only in the same direction as a pickup at the normal reproducing time. CONSTITUTION:When an input signal of a terminal 5 of a gate circuit 43 in a control circuit 4 is in the high level, the low-level signal inverted by an inverter 42 is inputted to AND gates 40 and 41, and gates 40 and 41 are made non-conductive, and output signals of comparators 2 and 3 are not supplied to a motor driving circuit. However, since a control signal inputted from a terminal 6 is applied as the low-level signal additionally at the normal reproducing time, the AND gate 40 to which the output signal of the comparator 2, the output signal of the inverter 42, and the control signal from the terminal 6 are inputted to is made conductive only when reproducing is performed normally in the inward direction, and the output signal of the comparator 2 is supplied to the motor driving circuit. Similarly, the output of the comparator 3 is supplied to the motor driving circuit through the control signal from a terminal when reproducing is performed normally in the outward direction. |
