<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate paper folding wrinkles made during the conveyance of recording paper and the disorder of an image by separating one end of the recording paper from a photosensitive drum by a separating means and providing the recording paper guiding device on a conveyance path for the recording paper to be carried in a fixing device consisting of a couple of rollers. CONSTITUTION:An edge guiding means 31 which prevents recording paper from floating is provided over the entrance of the fixing device 20 and at a side B opposite to a side A where a separating and conveying means for the recording paper is situated. The edge guiding means 31 is positioned above a nip part N when viewed in the carry- in direction of the recording paper and a plate material with a slanting surface 31a which becomes lower then the axis of a fixing roller 21 toward a roller end. When the recording paper having one end part A controlled by the separating and conveying means is carried in the recording paper guiding device provided with said edge part guiding means 31, the front end of the opposite side of the recording paper is apt to float, but the floating of the front end is controlled by the slanting surface 31a of the edge part guiding means 31. Consequently, the top surface of the recording paper on which a toner image is formed is prevented from contacting a heat insulating cover 23 at the entrance of the fixing device 20 to prevent even the occurrence image disorder.</p> |
