The apparatus includes a loudspeaker element which has a relatively high Q value, and the resonance frequency of which is within the frequency band within which a speech spectrum has the greatest amplitude. The power supplied to the telephone is utilized effectively by the amplifier of the loudspeaker element having lower gain for frequencies in the vicinity of the resonance frequency of the loudspeaker element than for higher frequencies. |
