PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive corrosion preventive bar which is easily workable and is not coated with a non-conductive packing material by segmenting longitudinally the corrosion preventive material provided on the outside periphery of a core wire to plural pieces at spacing parts and forming the spacing parts without exposing the corrosive preventive material of the core wire. CONSTITUTION:The corrosion preventive material 7 is provided on the outside periphery of the core wire 9 and further the above-mentioned material 7 is segmented to plural pieces at the spacing parts 8. The material 7 is allowed to remain in the parts 8 to form the corrosion preventive bar 1 without exposing the wire 9. The need for stripping off the material 7 in the parts 8 is thus eliminated and the bar 1 is obtd. inexpensively without coating the non-conductive packing material of silicone, etc. thereto. The above-mentioned spacing parts 8 are formed by cutting the corrosion preventive material by means of a cutting tool 10 having about 90 deg. V-angled shape and having a round top end. The parts 8 are thus efficiently formed. The sharp injury to the wire 9 is eliminated and the breakage of the wire 9 during the exchanging operation is prevented. |
