<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a coordinate input device which can be connected to a mouse use interface by providing additionally two converting circuits, and leading the respective signals sent out from both the circuits, to the mouse use interface. CONSTITUTION:When a handwriting input is executed with an input use pen 11 onto the input surface of a tablet 10, a coordinate signal generating circuit 12 detects a coordinate of an input part and sends out digital signals (x), (y) which have displayed an absolute value of X and Y coordinates. Converting circuits 2X 2Y have the same circuit constitution each other, receive the signals (x), (y), respectively, and generate and send out two-phase signals XA, YA conforming with a mouse use interface and two-phase signals XB, YB. The mouse use interface has a function for obtaining a digital signal which follows a coordinate signal by counting up and down said two-phase pulse signals. In such a way, a coordinate input device which can be connected to the mouse use interface can be realized.</p> |
