PURPOSE:To switch an object to be photographed and detacted to another body by realizing a means which automatically tracks the object within a specific area in photographic field, and tracking returning tracking view field set to be transferrable to the position in the picture plane when the tracking object goes outside the photographic field. CONSTITUTION:While tracking operation is continued, the gate position of a distance measure circuit 12 moves to the same relative position to the gate of a tracking circuit 8, but when the object goes not of the limited area, the distance measuring view field is returned to, for example, the center or its around of the photographic field, and at the same time the tracking view field returned to the stand-by position. For this purpose, a micro-processor 16 sends control a signal c' to a gate pulse generating circuit 11, and a signal (e) to the distance measure circuit 12, thus enabling the gate position of distance measure circuit 12 move to the center or its around of the photographic frame. By these action, they are returned at the most suitable position to switch to other object. |
