PURPOSE:To improve the startability by determining the state of a throttle vavle when an engine starts and the compensating injection quantity of fuel in accordance with the opening of said throttle valve. CONSTITUTION:At the starting time of an engine, it is determined that a throttle valve is in the idling position or not on the basis of the signal from a throttle opening sensor 3. If the throttle valve is not in the idling position, injection quantity of fuel is compensated in accordance with the opening of the throttle valve. Since the state of the throttle valve is determined and injection quantity of fuel is compensated in accordance of the opened degree thereof at the starting time of the engine, the startability may be improved and back fire be prevented. |
