PURPOSE:To execute a soft and economical extension of a computer system, in case of interruption processing of an extended apparatus, y connecting a card connecting slot to an interruption controller terminal, and providing a card number circuit on an input/output card. CONSTITUTION:Card connecting slots S1-S4 to which extended interface cards (input/output cards) io1-ion are connected are connected to an interruption controller 2. Also, the cards io1-ion execute control of an extended apparatus and relaying of the extended apparatus and a CPU1, and contain a card number recognizing circuit. First of all, when an interrupting signal is outputted from an interrupting signal output terminal (intb) of an extended interface circuit of the cards io1-ion, it is inputted to interrupting signal receiving terminals iR1-iR4 of each different level of a controller 2 through the slots S1-S4. Subsequently, an interruption processing well-adapted to the card is executed through the controller 2 and the CPU1. In this way, in case of the interruption processing of the extended apparatus, a soft and economical extension of a computer system can be executed. |
