摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To effectually utilize energy, by combining an absorption-type water heating/ cooling unit, which uses the waste heat of exhaust gas of an engine and that of its cooling water from a water jacket to produce cold water and hot water, with an electric power generation means. CONSTITUTION:Cooling water drained from the water jacket of an engine 1A for driving an electricity generator 1B is returned to the engine through a pipe 17, a low- temperature regenerator 5, a first three-way control valve 14, a heat exchanger 3 between the cooling water and other cooling water, a second three-way control valve 15, a water heater 6 and a pipe 17b so that an absorption-type water heating/cooling unit is operated as a room cooling cycle. When the unit is operated as a room heating cycle wherein room heating and hot water supply are only performed, the cooling water from the water jacket by-passes the low-temperature regenerator 5 and flows through the heat exchanger 8 and a heat exchanger 9 which heats water by the cooling water from the water jacket to perform the room heating and hot water supply. The heat of exhaust gas introduced into a high-temperature regenerator 4 is transferred from a water heater 6 to the cooling water from the water jacket so that heat abandoned in a cooling column 10 is reduced as the load in the room heating and hot water supply increases.</p>
