Spectrally sensitized inner latent image type silver halide photographic emulsions

An inner latent image type silver halide photographic emulsion which is spectrally sensitized by adding at least one cyanine dye represented by general formula (II) to a direct positive inner latent image type silver halide photographic emulsion and thereafter adding additionally at least one cyanine dye represented by general formula (I) to said emulsion (I) (II) (the symbols are as defined in the appended claims). A remarkable increase of spectral sensitivity, an increase of maximum density and a decrease of minimum density can be obtained by this silver halide photographic emulsion.
