CONSTITUTION:A sliding and rubbing roller 7-1 having both ends supported in bearings 7-6 is given torque from a drive gear 7-7 and slides and rubbs the surface of a photosensitive drum 1 of a-Si or the like. Outside an image region A of the roller 7-1, magnets 7-5a and 7-5b are disposed and rotates with the roller 7-1. Residual toner on the surface of the photosensitive drum 1 is scraped off by a cleaning blade 7-2 by a cleaning blade 7-2 and transported by the roller 7-1 toward a transport screw 7-4 to be scraped off by a scraper 7-3 and discharged by the screw 7-4 to the outside. At this time, the residual toner is not attached to the roller 7-1 only but moved to the ends of the roller 7-1 before it falls off the roller 7-1.
