PURPOSE:To provide superior electrophotographic characteristics without using any poisonous substance by successively laminating a charge transferring layer contg. a charge transferring substance made of an electron donative compound and a charge generating layer contg. a specified nonmetallophthalocyanine on an electrically conductive layer. CONSTITUTION:A charge transferring layer contg. a charge transferring substance made of an electron donative compound and a charge generating layer contg. at least one kind of compound selected among gamma, gamma-, eta- and eta'-nonmetallophthalocyanines are successively laminated on an electrically conductive layer to obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body. This sensitive body has high sensitivity in the near infrared region as well as in the visible light region when it is positively charged, so the sensitive body is applicable to not only PPC but also LBP using diode laser. Since the sensitive body contains no poisonous substance, it is safe and hygienic. |
