PURPOSE:To prevent lateral vibration and to improve compression performance of a rotary compressor, by a method wherein a projection, engaging with a recess in a vane holding groove formed in the sliding direction of the vane, is formed on the side of the vane brought into contact with a rolling piston. CONSTITUTION:A vane 20, brought into contact with a rolling piston 4, is engaged with a vane holding groove 21 formed in a cylinder 1. A projection, engaged with a recess formed in the vane holding groove 21 and extended in the sliding direction of the vane, is formed on the vane. This prevents lateral vibration of the vane and enables the vane to be stably slide, resulting in the possibility to improve compression performance of a rotary compressor. |
