PURPOSE:To prevent simply the electrolytic corrosion of an artificial satellite at a low cost by screwing a protector against electric corrosion on a metallic material forming the frame of the satellite. CONSTITUTION:A hole for a screw is pierced in an Al-base metallic material 1 forming the frame of an artificial satellite, and a protector 2 against electrolytic corrosion made of an Mg alloy or the like is screwed on the material 1 with a metallic screw 3. The electrolytic corrosion of the metallic material 1 is prevented by using the material 1 as the cathode and the protector 2 as the anode. Restrictions on a plan for an artificial satellite and on environment in which the satellite is placed are relaxed to reduce the cost, and the maintenance is made very easy by facilitating the attachment and exchange of the protector 2. |
