PURPOSE:To elimimate the ground stain of a reverse elctrostatically charged toner, image drop-out, etc. and to make possible developing and recording with high quality by transferring and sticking the one-component high-resistance toner under conveyance to the other conveying means of electrical power and conveying the same to a developing part. CONSTITUTION:The layer 3a of a toner 3 electrostatically charged by a doctor blade 5 is conveyed by the rotation of a developing sleeve 4 and the reverse electrostatically charged toner 3N is generated by the friction, etc. of the toner particles 3 with each other and is mixed with the positive electrostatically charged toner 3p. the toner is thereby supplied from a sleeve 4 to recording body 1 via a conveying belt 6. The belt 6 has uniform potetial and the electric field direction is made unidirectional by the toner transfer bias of a power source 11. The toner 3p on the sleeve 4 is transferred and stuck by the electrical power of the electric field. On the other hand, the toner 3N is recovered into a developing hopper by the sleeve 4 without being transferred onto the belt 6. |
