SUCTION DEVICE FOR HOOKING STRING

PURPOSE:To achieve safe and reliable string hook operation even for the string travelling with high speed by specifying the shape and the dimensional ratio of components of suction device employing high pressure liquid as working fluid thereby obtaining the suction tensile force higher than predetermined level. CONSTITUTION:The suction device 1 is comprised of a string guide tube 3 having a string guide port 3a at the tip, a body 2 bored with nozzles 5 while surrounding the rear end 3b of said tube 3 and a discharge tube 4 coupled to the rear end of the body 2 where a discharge hose 6 is connected to said tube 4. The body 2 has a pressure liquid chamber 8 into which the liquid having higher pressure than 80kg/cm<2> is pressure fed through an injection tube 11 connected with a feed hose 9. Said nozzle 5 will open to the pressure liquid chamber 8 and bored obliquely with the angle smaller than 45 deg.. Each section is formed such that the number (n) and the diameter (d) of the nozzle 5, the narrowest inner diameter Dm and the tube length Lm of the discharge tube 4 and the inner diameter Dh of the discharge hose 6 will satisfy predetermined relation.
