The protective cover for the car consists of a flexible sheet. It is rolled on a sprung support behind the bumper and fitted over the vehicle profile on stop to hold it away from the body. The cover is held in a light metal pressing inside the profiled bumper. The stop are made of moulded plastics and the cover is proofed against weathering. When in use the cover is spread over the top of the car forming weather tight seal.
