<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the insulating performance and to enable the application to metallic painting by insulating the outer periphery with a resin and providing an air injection port on the outer peripheral part in a specified arrangement. CONSTITUTION:The insulating distance (a) from a bell head 9 which is a high voltage impressing part to the leading end part 4 of a wrist 3 functioning as a robot, attaching the main body 6 of a device, and which is a ground part, is regulated to >=150mm.. Besides, the distance (b) from the front end of a main body 6 to an annular resinous attachment 18 of air injection ports 15 and 16 is regulated to >=50mm.. Moreover, a paint hose 23, an air hose, and a high-voltage cable 19 are altogether arranged at the rear part of the main body 6. Consequently, since paint particles atomized by the rotary bell head 9 are deflected in the direction of an article to be painted by air currents A, B, and C from injection ports 12, 15, and 16, the deposition of the paint on the outer peripheral part of the main body is prevented, insulation can be sufficiently maintained even in metallic painting, and a small-sized and lightweight device can be obtained.</p> |
