PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of braking phenomenon and to improve effectiveness of engine brake, by a method wherein 2 one-way clutches for forward and reverse are placed in juxtaposition, and either of them is selected by an automatic shifting device. CONSTITUTION:A front differentiator 4 is formed such that a drive gear 19 of an output shaft 16 is geared with a final gear 20, a differentiator 21, coupled with the gear 20 through a one-way clutch device 6, is coupled with a front wheel 23 though an axle 22. A one-way clutch 36 for forward and a one-way clutch 37 for reverse are placed in juxtaposition on an inner lace shaft 35, an automatic shifting device 38 is located between a boss part 30 of the gear 20 and clutches 36, 37. A device 8 is formed such that a hub 39 is spline-coupled with the boss part 30 of the gear 30, the one gear 40a of a sleeve 40 is normally geared with a gear 39a of the hub 39, and the other gear 40b is selectively geared with gears 36b and 37b of outer laces 36a and 37a, respectively. |
