PAPER SUPPLY DEVICE

PURPOSE:To easily and rapidly convert automatic paper supply to manual paper insertion supply and vice versa by lowering a hopper plate on which blanks are stacked and lifting a paper supply roller interlocked with said hopper to insert a paper supply plate for manual insertion between these members. CONSTITUTION:A pick roller 15 is pushed up by a stacked blanks 12 under the automatic paper supply condition to separate an arm 31 from a stopper 32 so that the pick roller 15 abuts against the upper surface of the blank 12. When this condition is changed over to the manual insertion paper supply, a hopper plate 11 is lowered to rotate clockwise an interlocking member 34 through an arm 34a by its end and a swing frame 29 and a bracket 18 counterclockwise through an arm 34b. Thus, a paper supply roller 14 is lifted while a frictional pad 17 is lowered to form a blank passage between both roller and pad. And a paper supply plate 8 is inserted in this blank passage so that the blank can be supplied one by one from the paper supply plate 8.
