PURPOSE:To restart a sequence program speedily after changing the program on the way of operation by forming a switching means for interrupting sequence control and an operation state holding means for an external apparatus at the time of the interruption. CONSTITUTION:The sequencer is constituted of a storage means 1 for storing a sequence program, a mode switching means 2, a control means 3 for controlling an external apparatus 4, and a switching means 5 and the control means 3 sequentially controls the external apparatus 4 when the mode switching means 2 is in the RUN mode, or controls the external apparatus so as to stop its operation when in the STOP mode. When the operator turns the switching means 5, the sequence control is interupted and the output part of an I/O part 30 is turned to the holding state. At the time of interruption, the working external apparatus is kept at its working state and the stopped external apparatus is kept at its stop state. |
