PURPOSE:To shorten a required time per working process and to minimize the number of drive parts in each working area, by dividing a guide shaft for transferring articles into two shafts to allocate necessary functions to respective shafts so that article transferring operations which are individually associated with each other are carried out, simultaneously in parallel with each other. CONSTITUTION:A slider 12 and an elevator 17 are movably disposed respectively on horizontal and vertical shafts 2, 3 serving as two guide shafts and disposed in a device body, and are provided with support mechanisms 16, 19 for articles 30, respectively. Further, the article 30 which is carried by one article transferring members 4 is at first transferred upwards by means of the elevator 17 on the vertical shaft 3 through the intermediary of the support mechanism 19. Then the article 30 is received by the slider 12 on the horizontal shaft 2 to be fed transversely. Then, the article 30 is lowered with its horizontal posture being maintained, and then the article 30 which has been supported by the support mechanism 16 on the slider 12 is released to be set on the other article transferring member 5. |
